Improvements to be made

Looking back over my blog and evaluating what i have got there are a few improvements to be made, 5 things i need to improve on are,

• making continual posts 
• Audience mood board
• Codes and conventions
• developing ideas
• analysis of BBFC rating

In this short video we show you how we created some of the clips used in our ending music video

First Draft Magazine Cover

Using the generic music magazine covers this is what we cam up with.

Here we have used the three colour scheme. Our unique selling point is the free track download and we have used the generic layout of the typical music magazine to make ours fit in with all the others.

Inspiration

Aspects of our film were inspired by the song Love U More by Sunday Girl. We tested a few shots to see if it was possible for us to achieve something similar and if it fitted with out song choice.   

Music magazine research

I have taken a range of music magazine samples from the internet to analise.

From these three examples it is clear that there is a three colour scheme, predominately red white and black. There is a key image which links with the main story of the magazine. Some of the magazines also have a unique selling point in this case of Q magazine they are offering a 70 page special of women in music. These magazines all follow the same structure, so using these basic ideas we are going to make our own music magazine.

After analysing a range of similar products this is what we came up with. Using natural features then harshly editing them gave it the Indie Rock feel we wanted to get across.
